Asthma Spray is a dialogue about the correlations between being reliant on albuterol (the medication) and the many times throughout Malia's life where she could not breathe physically. There are many times through life where we can draw direct examples of where pain in the body or issues in the body began and in this poetry book, Malia describes specific examples of where her breathing became worse or better over time.
